Oak Wilt Identification And Management Qualification Course

Oak Wilt Identification and Management Qualification Course

Oak wilt is a complex and relentless fungal disease that will continue to advance across our landscape unless identified, treated, and stopped. While there is general awareness of oak wilt in Michigan, there is some confusion and misunderstanding of this complex disease and how to manage it. To advance knowledge of responsible, effective disease prevention measures and treatments, with the ultimate goal of eliminating the disease from Michigan, the Arboriculture Society of Michigan has developed the Oak Wilt Qualification program. Targeted for Qualification are arborists, foresters and other tree professionals dedicated to oak wilt management and eradication through education and application of industry best practices.
